ABOUT SEVILFEST
Sevil International Women's Documentary Film Festival is an independent documentary film festival operating in Azerbaijan since 2020.Sevilfest focuses primarily on gender issues. In addition, Sevilfest aims to remove the obstacles in front of women and queer directors due to existing stereotypes and to increase their participation in the field of cinema in Azerbaijan.
The festival promotes local film art by organizing short and full-length competitions for local and international artists. Also, the festival is organized in parallel in three cities - Baku, Sheki, Lankaran.

LOGO IDEA
I wanted to visually transfer the geometric parts of film equipment to typography.The cutting part of movie clipper looks like the letter v in the Sevil word.
